Great opportunities in Fennoscandia, Northern Europe! Europe's richest ore reserve domain has seen an enormous increase in mining activities and mineral exploration during the last few years. Companies have invested record sums in the search for base metals and precious metals. Several mine projects are active and new mines have been opened. The Fennoscandian Shield offers great potential for new discoveries! Fennoscandia = a geographic and geological term describing the Scandinavian Peninsula, the Kola Peninsula, Karelia and Finland. In geology, it also refers to the underlying Fennoscandian Shield of Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
Mining Finland's Harry Sandstrom caught up with Proactive Investors at Mines and Money 2016 to discuss what the organisation's about. Sandstrom says: ''It's one of those growth programs we have in Finland which is supported by our government and our aim is to assist early-stage mining and exploration companies to get foreign investment''. Pertti Lamberg, chief executive officer (CEO) of Keliber Oy also spoke to Proactive at the event. He says the company has more than 5mln tonnes of lithium in six different deposits at its project located in central Finland, according to the maiden mineral resource report. Thirdly, Nickel One Resources Inc (CVE:NNN) is a Canada-based exploration company with two nickel discoveries: the Tyko nickel/copper/platinum group elements (PGE) property in in Nor...
https://genesis-mining.com/pricing https://ethereum.org Ethereum is the first ‘world computer’. It is a decentralized network that can be used by anyone and is capable of running applications with no possibility of downtime, censorship or fraud. It's native currency, Ether is one of the fastest growing cryptocurrencies next to Bitcoin. Just a few months ago, the price was $1, then it shot up to $13 and today it has settled at just under $10. This rapid growth excited investors who were eager not to miss out on another hyper-growth investment opportunity. While some choose to invest in Ethereum directly, many are turning to Cloud Mining to enter the market. Our Enigma Farm is a computation cluster built for exactly this venture. If you are as fascinated by the Ethereum project as we ar...
Recreational gold digging using re-circulating water in a highbanker-style system. It had been sunny for a week, so not much water in the nearby ditch. It seemed necessary to re-circulate waters needed for gold recovery. Disadvantage seems to be that with murky water the use of "indicator mats" and "gossiping plate" is not as easy as it would be if using clear water only. Pump has cast iron insides so perhaps it can handle turbid waters for a while. Apologies for not recording clean-up and finish panning routines at location. I know it would be cool to see new gold, so sorry for that. Music: Voicefromabove: "How can I find or recall my horse" (made entirely with Jeskola Buzz)

''It's one of those growth programs we have in Finland which is supported by our government and our aim is to assist early-stage mining and exploration companies to get foreign investment''. Sandstrom adds: ''The other task for our program is to assist technology companies in their export and internationalisation'' ''If you look at the size of mining in Finland it's not so big, but what is important is that downstream industries are big''.
Finland, Sweden and Norway organized a joint luncheon event to promote mineral exploration and mining opportunities in Fennoscandia in connection with the PDAC 2015 International Mining Convention held in Toronto, Canada. Mika Nykänen, recently appointed Director General of the Geological Survey of Finland, emphasized the importance of Nordic cooperation.
The archipelago sea contains a number of exciting stories. One of the most interesting ones are about the island of Jussarö, on the Finnish south coast about half-way between Helsinki and Hanko (Hangö). Jussarö has been a known landmark and harbor since the middle ages, but the most interesting part of Jussarö's history started in the 19th century. Close to Jussarö there is a serious compass anomaly which is due to a large iron ore. To excavate this iron, a mine was opened in the early 19th century. The quality of the ore was not very good, so in the mid 19th century the mine was closed for about 100 years. The part of the mining history that is now evident on the island started in 1954, when the mine was reopened and a complete mining community with high-rise buildings and processing fa...
